Our Impact

Our Father’s Affordable Housing Foundation was founded in 2018 as a family-led effort to bring hope and practical assistance to those in need both in the U.S. and around the world. With a heart for service, we have made an impact by purchasing vehicles, offering reduced rents, providing food for the elderly, supporting children’s education, delivering life-saving medical care and medicines, funding foster care programs, and supplying generators to communities devastated by hurricanes and other natural disasters. From the beginning, we have operated as a self-sustaining nonprofit, funded entirely by family income and investments.

Now, for the first time, we are extending an invitation to others to join us in our mission to meet critical needs such as medical care, food, and shelter. If you feel inspired to help, please click the donation link below to support the project(s) closest to your heart. May your generosity be a blessing, used by God to save lives, uplift communities, and build a brighter future for all.

Below are testimonials, videos, and comments from families, individuals, and project leaders who have benefited from our support over the years. It has been a tremendous blessing to assist thousands upon thousands of people through these efforts. If this is what our small family has been able to accomplish, just imagine the even greater impact we can achieve together as we unite to transform the world for future generations.

With much love and gratitude, Sheila, Garrett and Jordan

Especially The Family

Especially The Family is one of the primary charities supported by Our Foundation. Through this partnership, we serve over 500 families per year across 45 countries, addressing urgent, life-saving needs. One of our most recent initiatives was funding the establishment of a hospital in Cambodia, where we also supported the medical staff to deliver critical care to countless families in need within the community.

HOPE Worldwide - zambia

Hope Zambia holds a special place in our hearts. In 2019, our family traveled to Zambia and had the privilege of serving at the school, where we fell in love with the children and the community. Since then, we have been dedicated to supporting their efforts. We contributed by painting classrooms, building a new playground, and providing essential teaching support to meet the educational needs of both teachers and students. Our ongoing support includes providing uniforms, daily hot meals—often the only meal a child receives—school supplies, and much more. To date, we have had the honor of serving over 600 children through this program.

I was hungry

James 1:27 reminds us, "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." We see this not only as a command but as a privilege to serve orphans and the elderly in need. Our family supports the "I Was Hungry" program, which provides vital food assistance to elderly individuals in the NY and NJ areas who struggle to make ends meet on their social security and rely on this support for their survival.

HOPE Worldwide - Canada

With the same passion that drives our support for the "I Was Hungry" program, our family extended our efforts to Canada to assist foster children. Canada has the largest foster population in the world, with many of these children coming from indigenous communities. We believe that supporting the children of today is essential for shaping the future leaders of tomorrow. Our contributions help fund projects that provide day camps, counseling, and other vital programs designed to uplift and care for foster children, as well as to support the dedicated staff serving them.

Hand Up for Hope Worldwide - Haiti

We understand that many people desire to become self-sufficient and provide for their families without relying on government assistance. To support this, we initiated and funded the "Hand Up, Not a Handout" program. This initiative provides loans or scholarships to individuals seeking to start their own businesses and achieve financial independence. Once their business becomes sustainable, they repay the loan, enabling us to reinvest those funds into helping another family start their journey toward self-sufficiency.

Hope Worldwide - Puerto Rico

Living in Puerto Rico for the past five years has given me the opportunity to serve the island in ways that go far beyond donations. We have provided generators to those impacted by hurricanes, delivered care packages to families whose homes were destroyed by earthquakes, assisted elderly individuals affected by tornadoes and storms, distributed food to those in need, organized summer programs for children, and supported many other initiatives to uplift the community.

Prison Reform and Power of Peace Projects

We have recently embarked on a new project driven by our belief that prison reform is vital to the well-being of our communities. To support this mission, we have partnered with one of the most impactful individuals we’ve encountered, who has worked in over 100 prisons across the U.S. and internationally. Through his groundbreaking program, he fosters peace and unity among rival gang leaders and members—a success that can only be described as miraculous. Beyond his work inside prison walls, Kit is also dedicated to mentoring younger generations, helping to break the cycle before it begins. Together, we are developing a docuseries to showcase this transformative work, raise awareness, and inspire others to get involved in creating meaningful change within their own communities.

We supported a group in Lebanon with the wars and genocide happening in Gaza. They were trapped and they cut off food supplies to them so we sent someone in to provide.

A message of thanks from India.

"Sheila, I don't know about you but I never get tired of these thank you videos. Do you know we have received more than 600 of them? I am so encouraged. Thanks for all you do. Much love and thanks!"

Super Typhoon Carina caused significant devastation in the Philippines when it made landfall on July 24. A state of calamity was declared in 16 municipalities in Manila and four provinces due to the widespread damage. In response to this disaster, we have reached out to disciples who may have been affected.

"Hi Sheila, it is me again. The Philippines was severely impacted by Super Typhoon Carina, which made landfall July 24. A state of calamity has been declared in 16 municipalities in Manila and across 4 provinces. We have contacted the leaders to gather information on any affected disciples. He's currently compiling data and will share updates as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your support and donations to help them during this time."

"Dear Sheila,

I pray wherever you are today you are healthy and happy. Tomorrow I finish my final day of Covid quarantine and fly home from Hawaii after two weeks in Asia and one week in paradise (unfortunately I am here for work not vacation...). Right now it is 5am on the 20th and I wanted to let you know that in addition to being grateful for the support you have provided through young Mr. Cole, we have also screened and uploaded more than 20 new profiles onto the ETF site, and we have also optimized the functionality of the site to reflect the gifts we receive there after just a minute or two. We are working on "instant" and I am going for a legit fireworks display right there on the website. 😊

Thanks to you we are doing many new things for our brothers and sisters, but those are the things you asked for more specifically. Your wish is my command (ha ha ha), kidding but not kidding. I speak for more than 500 people when I say thank you for your generosity over the past year. Words are not enough, but I will probably keep babbling on anyway."
